walking ladyWorld War Two and Ireland History Talks and Exhibitions offer a unique and interesting entertainment option for all residents in Care and Residential Homes and similar facilities on both sides of the Irish border. Using a wide array of artefacts from the period we tell the story of World War Two from its beginning with the German Invasion of Poland right through to the conflict’s very end with the dropping of the atomic bombs on Japan. Utilizing many actual domestic Irish artefacts from the period we look in detail at how Ireland and it's people north and south faired during WWII or during ‘The Emergency’ to which it was referred in Southern Ireland.

Apart from being a highly interesting and entertaining history lecture incorporating historic artefacts, stories and fascinating facts from the period of World War Two and ‘The Emergency’ our talk will evoke many nostalgic memories for many of our older generation.
